Cory Hackett, MA, RPCA
Director of Archaeology
Cory has over 15 years of experience in all aspects of the cultural heritage management industry. He has worked on well over 2500 projects in Western Canada including: forestry (all the major forestry licensees in Northern BC), quarries, private developments, highways, mines, parks, Oil and Gas pipelines and transmission lines. In addition, he consults with the RCMP on investigations of human remains (and cremains), and has conducted research and recovery excavations for the Lake Babine, Heiltsuk, Tŝilhqot’in, and Cheslatta Carrier Nations.
Over the years he has demonstrated competence and ambition in his approach to accomplishing projects efficiently, effectively and on time. With honest budgets and no surprise invoices, he brings a work ethic that facilitates successful projects and fosters positive relationships with communities, businesses, First Nations and governments.
